Snowstorm surrender

I am bundled up in snow pants, neck gator, muskrat mittens in the midst of wind gusts and snow.  I high stepped part way to the first barn and almost turned back. Just make it to the home barn to feed the goats and cats. Did it! One foot in front of the other, step by step telling myself I can do it! Made it to the next farm and the dog didn't know if she could make it through the drifts.

I decided today is the perfect day to put on pink sundress with seashell pattern and smile at the snow.  Here's to surrendering so deep, ya put on your beach clothes and sweep the sand up from the garage, and have a beach party. Remind myself, in this moment I'm OK and if this was South Padre Island and this windy, the sand would be blown across the road and wouldn't be able to travel easier than in this snowstorm.  Here's to peace in the valley  or on the ridgetop. We got this! Thank ya God!

Randy, Rick, Roger and Clyde

February 2019

Winter winds are whirling and swirling the snow. It really forces everyone to slow down from our driving speed and the hustle to be on our way.

Today on Sue's Joy Journey, I'm pausing to feel the connection and powerful feelings of knowing we're in the right place at the right time. It doesn't mean the journey path isn't snow covered and slippery. It just means there's space between the snow flakes and the breaks in the wind gusts to remember to breathe. To remember to thank the snowplow crew that does their best to keep the roads plowed. Today I'm thanking Randy, Rick, Roger,Stan and Clyde for their dedication.  Let's give them a brake on our Journey.

Sending Sueshine to the whole world as it comes together and is slowing down for peace, love and joy on Sue's Joy Journey
